I know it has been a while but i got married on the 22nd June 2002 in Heswall, Wirral and i bought my dress from a shop in Chester called Diana Grey (now closed). I had the spaghetti straps removed and an extra 2 feet added on the train, it was beautiful. Although she had many dresses, she did not have the Portia, so I arranged for a sample to be sent on loan. When it arrived it was a size too big and the wrong colour but I fell in love with it. You can tell a lot of care & precision goes into making these dresses and they really do have the Wow factor! Everybody loved my dress, and people still comment on it 6 months after the wedding. My Hubby also loved my dress but most of all I loved my dress. I truly felt a million dollars, a real princess, how any girl should feel on her wedding day. I splashed out on my wedding dress and I don’t regret spending a penny of it! I would encourage anyone who is thinking about buying a Hollywood Dreams dress to do it! I was one of these unfortunates who bought an imitation dress from eBay and I was devastated when it came. It was like something off a Barbie doll! I went straight to a bridal shop in Birmingham and put Venetia in blush pink on - my mind was made up immediately. I will never forget the gasps from friends and family when they saw my dress.
